Floating Points is one of the brightest stars of today’s techno experimentalism.  The umbrella term of “Techno” is where the jazz musicians and the classical composers of our day are working.  The same ways that Coltrane and Stravinsky used abstract sound and rhythm to paint emotional pictures, so too does Floating Points.
